The West Midlands Regional Association of Enterprise Agencies (WMRAEA) was originally formed in the early eighties to bring together like-minded organisations to meet on a regular basis to share good practice and to offer training to Enterprise Agency Directors and staff. From it sprang the National Federation of Enterprise Agencies (NFEA) More recently there has been a resurgence in the wish to develop a stronger more representational organisation that can drive up quality and capacity and deliver a range of enterprise related services across the West Midlands. Therefore in 2005 WMRAEA decided to change its name to Central Enterprise Solutions (CES) to indicate that it represented Enterprise in its widest sense with a Mission Statement that demonstrated an all-inclusive, active and professional organisation acting on behalf of its members. Central Enterprise Solutions Limited (formerly Entrepreneurial Solutions Ltd) was incorporated in November 2000 to bid for and deliver regional contracts and has successfully delivered the Business Volunteer Mentor Programme and is currently the approved training provider for the Institute of Business Advisers professional development courses throughout the West Midlands Region. From May 2006 it will be delivering the Barclays Let's Talk Business seminars across the West Midlands region. CES is a member of the NFEA and the Chair of Central Enterprise Solutions is a main board member of NFEA. For a list of members see our Members Directory page Why be a Member?
